The Forensic Science Division operates seven regional forensic laboratories which provide forensic services to law enforcement agencies and fire investigation units.

Crime Scene Response Teams are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to document, process, and collect evidence at crime scene locations.
FSD is accredited by ANAB for forensic testing in Biology, Document Examination, Firearms and Tool Marks, Fire Debris and Explosives, Footwear and Tire, Friction Ridge, Trace Materials, Seized Drugs, and Toxicology.
