LPA Stakeholder Partnering
Michigan’s Local Public Agency (LPA) Stakeholder Partnering Team is a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Every Day Counts initiative developed to bring together the FHWA Michigan Division Office (FHWA Division), the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), and the LPAs within Michigan. The mission of the LPA Stakeholder Partnering Team is to be a quick-moving work group to identify state and LPA program-level compliance and oversight issues, and to review and formulate improvements to processes and procedures within the confines of applicable federal law, rules, orders, and policies, and to ultimately streamline the delivery of federal-aid projects within the state.
