Reproductive and Birth Outcomes
Most women have a healthy pregnancy, birth and baby, but some do not. More than 110,000 babies are born every year in Michigan. In 2018, for every 1,000 live births, 6.6 babies died before one year of age (Division for Vital Records and Health Statistics).
Reproductive and birth outcomes data for fertility, infant mortality, low birth weight, prematurity, and sex ratio are available on the MiTracking data portal.
