The July 2019 reintroduction of the Recovering America's Wildlife Act is huge conservation news for Michigan! If passed, this once-in-a-generation opportunity could mean more than $1.3 billion for state-led conservation efforts, including roughly $27 million a year here at home. Connecting RAWA to our Wildlife Action Plan

In order to take advantage of the funds from the act, each state must have a federally approved Wildlife Action Plan. The Recovering America's Wildlife Act will significantly advance the implementation of these plans, enabling states to recover thousands of at-risk species.
