SRFA provides technical and administrative support for improvements in financial management in schools. In partnership with districts, the Division uses funds to support initiatives that may lead to fiscal solvency and best practices in operations.

The School Review and Fiscal Accountability has partnered with several organizations and associations including the Michigan Department of Education, Michigan School Business Officials, Michigan Association of Superintendents & Administrators, Michigan Association of School Boards and others to host professional development and present the latest news and information to a variety of stakeholders. These events were targeted to superintendents, business managers, and board members to educate and inform school districts across the state to assist them in making informed decisions in their districts.
