State Police Inspector Selected to Run in NYC Marathon

The Michigan State Police (MSP) is proud to announce that Insp. Matt Bolger will run in the world-renowned TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 5. The marathon is the largest in the world and touches each of New York City’s five boroughs, which will be lined with more than one million supporters during race time.

State Police Personnel Deploy to Puerto Rico for Hurricane Maria Recovery Efforts

Gov. Rick Snyder today announced that the state of Michigan is deploying two Michigan State Police (MSP) staff members to Puerto Rico to provide logistical resourcing support. The deployment is occurring as a result of a request made for out-of-state support through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC).

State Police Urge Residents to Prepare for Possible Flooding; Heavy Rain and High Winds Expected in Parts of Michigan

With some parts of Michigan expected to see severe weather and heavy rainfall today through Tuesday, the Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division (MSP/EMHSD) is encouraging residents and visitors to prepare for possible flooding.
