Cash Management System (CMS)

Staff of the Cash Management System oversee the automated grants payment system for federal and state pass-through grants. These payments, totaling over $1 billion annually, go to local school districts, intermediate school districts, public school academies, and other recipients through MEIS (Michigan Education Information System).

Security for access into the system, along with audits of designated agency personnel to certify data submitted through MEIS, is handled by Cash Management System staff on an on-going basis.
