Funds available for Michigan organizations for disaster recovery

Due to the federally declared major disaster of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the federally declared major disaster for the Mid-Michigan Floods this past Spring, 2020, our state has faced extreme challenges. In support of our resiliency and recovery from these events, the Michigan Community Service Commission is offering funding support to address these challenges. All Regional Healthcare Coalitions supporting COVID-19 pandemic operations and organizations supporting Long-Term-Disaster Recovery for the Mid-Michigan flooding may apply to receive funds, from $1,000 to no more than $5,000, to support volunteer and recovery services. This funding will continue to support future disaster preparedness, and that should be included in your application narrative.
