MPSC Approves Settlement Agreement Authorizing Indiana Michigan Power Company's 2014-2015 Energy Optimization Plan

- The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Indiana Michigan Power Company's 2014-2015 energy optimization plan.

Under the terms of the settlement, residential customers using 500 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month will see an increase of 17 cents on their monthly bills, beginning in January 2014.

The utility and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
