Lt. Governor to Meet with Macomb Business Leaders on Improving Michigan's Regulatory Efficiency

November 21, 2013 - After more than two years transforming state government, Michigan has become a leader in implementing positive changes for business. However, state government still has too many delays, duplicative forms and impractical regulations and practices hurting Michigan’s businesses.

To continue to address these issues and discuss the positive impacts of the Reinventing Performance in Michigan (RPM) initiative and other recent Good Government regulatory reforms, Lt. Governor Brian Calley, Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) Director Steve Arwood, Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Executive VP and COO Steve Hilfinger and other local area business leaders are holding a business roundtable on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 2:00 p.m.
