May 6, 2013 - Collaboration is an essential part of improving workplace safety in the construction industry.
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA), University of Michigan Architecture, Engineering, and Construction, and Washtenaw Contractors Association have teamed up to bring you an event designed to promote a culture of safety through teamwork. Please join us for this free event on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from 9:00-11:00 am. This event is open to all construction personnel and will be of particular interest to superintendents, project managers, foremen, owners, and safety officers.
Continental breakfast and networking start at 9:00 am with "Coffee with MIOSHA" where there will be an opportunity to informally meet with MIOSHA staff. Presentations begin at 9:30 am with Martha Yoder, MIOSHA Director, as the keynote speaker followed by brief presentations from other industry professionals. After the presentations, MIOSHA representatives will be available to answer your questions and provide information on their programs and services.
