Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to Michigan Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following appointments to the Michigan Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee: 

Jonathan M. Arend of Owosso, pharmacist consultant with Specialized Pharmacy Services, Inc.  Mr. Arend is appointed to represent pharmacists for a term expiring October 1, 2005.  He succeeds Sandra Campbell whose term has expired. 

Ronald H. Bradley, M.D., Ph.D. of Williamston, president and CEO of Total Health Care of MI, P.C..  Dr. Bradley is appointed to represent physicians for a term expiring October 1, 2006.  He succeeds Debera Eggleston whose term has expired.

Khan J. Nedd, M.D. of Grand Rapids, president and CEO of Hospitalist of West Michigan.  Dr. Nedd is appointed to represent physicians for a term expiring October 1, 2006.  He succeeds Jonathan G. Henry whose term has expired.

Paul M. Dake, M.D. of Brighton, medical director of Community Choice Michigan.  Dr. Dake is appointed to represent physicians for a term expiring October 1, 2006.  He succeeds Robert D. Ernst whose term has expired.

The Michigan Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee advises the Michigan Department of Community Health on issues affecting prescription drug coverage for its various health care programs, including Medicaid, Children’s Special Health Care Services, Elder Prescription Insurance Care, and Maternal Outpatient Medical Services.
