You can use Recreation Search to find the perfect campground. It is the information hub to learn about the amenities found at all of our state parks, including trails, campground maps, events, beaches and much more. Use the filters to search for the amenities that meet your needs and interests, including those amenities that are accessible.
The majority of campsites are reservable and reservations can be made six months in advance. To make camping reservations, visit www.midnrreservations.com or call 1-800-44PARKS.
Please note, vehicle entry into all state parks, recreation areas and state forest campgrounds require a Recreation Passport.
Registering and checking in during the off-season (yellow phones)
During the off-season (Labor Day through Memorial Day), campers who need to register for a campsite or check in for their stay are asked to use the yellow phones located outside campground offices. Just pick up the yellow phone and it will automatically connect you to the reservation call center Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. If you arrive after call center hours, please check the campground office window for information on site availability and instruction on how to self-register.
