State Park Campgrounds
There are many camping and lodging opportunities available in Michigan state parks. When you choose state park campgrounds, you get a lot more than just a campsite. State parks offer a diverse range of recreational opportunities, such as hands-on instructional classes, nature programs, nighttime and interpretive hikes, places to fish, boat launches, dark sky viewing opportunities, family-friendly events, fall festivals and much more.
State Forest Campgrounds
A variety of amenities are offered at different campgrounds, including boat launches, carry-in boat launches, places to fish and hunt, trails and much more. A handful are open all-year round for those who enjoy a winter camping adventure.
Camping fees and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk at each campground. The majority of the state forest campgrounds are first come, first served; however, the following campgrounds do accept reservations through our online reservation system at www.midnrreservations.com.
