Come celebrate Memorial Day at Fort Wilkins Historic State Park!  Children from the Copper Harbor School will do a presentation for Memorial Day, followed by several speakers, a benediction and raising the colors by a U.S. Marines detachment.

Meet at the flagpole on the parade grounds inside Fort Wilkins.  The ceremony is open to all, however seating is limited to 60 guests, so bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on if you can.  In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held inside the West Barracks.

This event is free with your Recreation Passport and the public is welcome. A Recreation Passport is required for entry into Fort Wilkins Historic State Park. If you do not have a Recreation Passport, one can be purchased at the park. For more information about the park or the event, call 906-289-4215.
