Shoppers examine wares along a line of colorful vendor tents; one sign advertises honey.

The Farmers Market at Walker Tavern Historic Site is the largest of its kind in southeast Michigan. Here, at the historic crossroads where Sylvester Walker fed weary travelers in the mid 1800s, you'll find more than 50 venders offering fresh produce, baked goods and locally produced crafts.

The Walker Tavern Historic Site Farmers Market is open most Sundays from Memorial Day weekend through early October. See our complete 2018 farmers market schedule.

Make a day of it! Walker Tavern Historic Site is open for tours.

This event is free of charge; a Recreation Passport is required for park entry.

Walker Tavern Historic Site—part of the Michigan History Museum System and the MotorCities National Heritage Area—is located 35 miles west of Ann Arbor, in Cambridge Junction Historic State Park. Read more Walker Tavern Historic Site visitor information.
