On November 5, 2021, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued an interim final rule establishing COVID-19 vaccination requirements for staff working for certain Medicare- and Medicaid-certified providers and suppliers. CMS has since revised the compliance time line. MDHHS has provided information and resources to affected providers to assist with communication.
