Performance Reporting FAQ

Q. What if I have already submitted quarterly reports for fourth quarter 2019, do I need to resubmit in the new format?
A. No. As a reminder, all performance reporting for FY20 will need to follow the new format (quarterly for construction and annual for non-construction).

Q. What are my reporting requirements if I have a grant that contains an equipment purchase and construction?
A. You must submit two different types of report for this grant. For the equipment purchase an annual report is required on form 5100-140 each year the grant is open and is due Oct. 31. The construction project must be reported quarterly on Form 5370-1 until construction is complete and the project is accepted.

Q. Which form do I use if I have a grant that installed equipment (PAPI)?
A. Since you have a contractor installing the equipment this is a construction project must be reported quarterly on Form 5370-1 until construction is complete and the project is accepted.

Q. On the annual report form how do I know which milestones to report on for the schedule?
A. Refer to the instructions included with the form, which describes each milestone that needs to be identified.

Q. Do I need to submit two different annual reports if I have a planning project and a land acquisition project in the same grant?
A. No as long as you can report all the key milestones for each project on one form. If they do not fit, you will need to use two forms.

Q. How do I report on a construction project were there are two separate construction projects (crack sealing and runway lighting rehabilitation)?
A. If they are completed with one prime contractor for both projects, you will need to submit one 5370-1 form. If they are two separate contractors and contracts, you will need to submit two reports, one for each contractor/contract.
